A collection of my hot sauces 🔥🔥 I buy a new one everywhere I visit. My friends buy me them as well. I love hot & spicy!!
On April 17th, I lost my mom after she spent 3 days in the ICU fighting for her life. I was in complete shock. A few days later, I was having a hard time breathing. I thought I was having a severe panic attack. I decided to try and just sleep it off. I woke up the next day feeling even worse. I couldn't walk from my bed to the bathroom. I decided to go to the ER because my heart rate was now in the 120's. They ran a few tests and the doctor came in and told me that I may have a blood clot. I was in complete shock. The CT scan confirmed that I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms. The doctor told me that I would be admitted to the ICU. My heart rate sky rocketed. I set off all the machines in my room. I couldn't believe what they were saying to me. I begged to not be put into Room 6, the last place I seen my mom. I was put into Room 8. I was terrified. I didn't know if I was going to die.
The doctors told me I had strain on my heart. He performed an EKOS procedure. I was hooked up to eight machines pumping medicine and fluids into me to dissolve the clots. I had to stay in bed for two days. I wasn't allowed to move my leg because of risk of bleeding.
I can never say thank you enough to those that were by my side emotionally and physically. I had people sleeping on the couch next to me, feeding me my food, sending me flowers and writing me supportive messages. I am forever grateful to those that supported me.
I am lucky that I have no permanent damage. I am on blood thinners for the rest of my life but I am thankful to have these days. I am a survivor. I am a fighter. I am damn lucky.
